 毎回、違う花材で器との兼ね合いを考えながらのいけばな。

なかなかむずかしいのですが、楽しい！

こちらは、それぞれの生徒さんの作品。練習の形と花材がちがって、クラスも一層華やかになります♪

 

At each class, students are doing Ikebana with different floral and botanical materials.  It also requires us to think about containers which will be good with the materials. It is difficult yet Ikebana is so much fun!

ダンウッディークラス：Dunwoody Class Report

ダンウッディー教室。数人の生徒さんは、自由花の面や初級中段に差しかかる方も出てきました。初心の生徒さんは、これから習う内容を横でみながら、毎度の和気あいあいクラスです♪

 

A report from Dunwoody class.  Some students are moving forward to Mein (face) in Jiyuka and finishing their beginner's level.  New students enjoy watching other advanced students who are learning what they are going to learn next.  As usually, we had a good time!

教会でのフローラル・ボランティア：floral volunteer

定期的なボランティアでしている教会での生けこみです。今回は教会で開催されたアンティーク・ショーでの生けこみです。

 

Here is a report from Terry and Yamaoka's volunteer work at the cathedral.  The cathedral had an annual antique show. 

 

 

二人が担当したのは、ブッフェ・テーブルに飾る大型テーブルセンター。花材、使用する器、方法は決められたもので、デザインは独自のものです。

 

Terry and Yamaoka were assigned to do large table centers for the buffet tables.  All flowers, containers and arrangement materials were guided by the church cathedral flower guild, yet the design is original by Terry and Yamaoka.
