We are holding our very 1st Exhibition at Oglethorpe University Museum of Art!! 

We are also thrilled to announce that our master teacher, Ms. Hiroko Kawai will be joining our exhibition from Japan along with that our teacher, Ms. Yamaoka will be arranging her Ikenobo Ikebana exclusively. Ms. Kawai serves on the central governing board of the Ikenobo Society of Floral Art and Japan Clutural Envoy. .

私どもHana Atlanta~花の庵～主催、池坊いけばなの花展がOglethorpe University Museum of Artで開催されます！私ともの会での初めての花展です。今回は、先生である山岡先生の作品だけでなく、私どもの師匠である川井弘子先生（文化庁文化交流使：池坊全米特派講師/日本いけばな芸術協会特別会員)をお招きし、特別作品を展示予定です。

生徒一同、がんばりますので、皆様どうぞお越しください！

2015年度ジョージア日本語学校卒園・卒業式 Year of 2015 Georgia Japanese Language School Graduation Ceremony

2015年度ジョージア日本語学校の卒園・卒業式のいけこみをさせて頂きました。加えて、謝恩会用のブーケのご注文も頂き、今回はフラワーショップに大変身！山岡先生を筆頭に、会場のいけこみチームとブーケチームに分かれて作業を進めました。頑張りました！

Our group received the order of a large arrangement for the graduation of Georgia Japanese Language School. Also, we received many bouquet orders for homerooms' farewell parties at the school. With the guidance from Yamaoka sensei, our team was divided into 2 teams; On-site arrangement team & Bouquet team. Great job, everyone!

 
 

 

Revealing behind the scene ：裏方クリエイティブ工房

We are having so much fun making our supporting Ikebana arrangements for the JEC exhibition. We created over 50 arrangements during this exhibit. Here are some of us revealing our "creative studio" behind the scene.

日本刺繍センター展示会のための添えばな生けは楽しい経験でした。私たちのグルーブにて50杯を超える作品を生けさせていただきました。これが晴れやかな舞台の裏方”クリエイティブ工房”です。

外交官夫人グループへのワークショップ：Worshop for The madams of consultes group

各国外交官夫人の皆さまへの池坊いけばなワークショップをさせて頂きました。初めての経験とあり緊張は致しましたが、日本の文化の一つとして「池坊いけばな」をご紹介できましたこと、またこの様な貴重な体験をさせて頂きました事、深く御礼を申し上げます。これからも頑張ります！ 

We had an opportunity introducing our Ikenobo Ikebana to the madams of consulates including honorable personals. We performed the session as a workshop. It was our first experience having our session for the madams. Thank you very much for letting us to have such a honorable opportunity and chose us to perform our Ikenobo Ikebana session to the madams group. We continue our best dedicating our efforts to perform one of Japanese cultures, Ikenobo Ikebana.
